Vinyl Decals

Cost-effective and available in a multitude of colours, cut vinyl decals or stickers are useful for basic industrial and safety signs, simple logos, labels, decals and more.

Vinyl decals are cut from a solid sheet of coloured vinyl on a machine called a plotter. The vinyl has an adhesive (and release liner) on the backside so the cut vinyl can stick to non-porous surfaces. In many cases we overlay several colours to create multi-coloured decals.

After the shapes are cut, the excess vinyl on the sheet is removed in a process called weeding. A pre-mask tape is applied to the surface of the vinyl to make it easy to apply the letters and shapes.
